How much does your job alone contribute to a better place? Does it feel you are doing enough? The founders of MMU had a desire to give back. For them, it was not enough to work hard, bank their pay, and carry on. So the founders incorporated MMU Ltd, a non-profit company that allows them and hundreds of other professionals to tap into their networks to start giving back to their communities.

Today, MMU arranges events to raise
money or awareness for particular charities - but these are not ordinary events. Their motto is “why wouldn’t you?”. Why wouldn’t you organise 1400 people to dress up in Santa suits on a pub crawl to raise money for charity?

Why wouldn’t you arrange scores of people wearing 70’s style head bands to see who can donate blood in the fastest time? Why wouldn’t you host a black tie event with a touch of bunny to support the Good Friday Appeal? At MMU, we operate in our circle of influence, not our circle of concern. If there is something we think needs attention, we actively go about making a difference. We don’t just whinge about it.
